What is storm field weatherman?

Storm Field (born David Schwartz) is an American television meteorologist and author. He was born on August 18, 1953, in New York City. In 1976, he graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology.

Field began his career as a meteorologist in 1976 at WTNH-TV in New Haven, Connecticut. He worked at several other television stations before joining WABC-TV in New York City in 1983. Field worked as a weatherman for WABC-TV until 1991.

In 1991, Field left WABC-TV to join The Weather Channel, where he worked as a chief meteorologist. He also served as a weather correspondent for ABC News. Field left The Weather Channel in 2008.

Field has authored several books on weather, including "Under the Weather: A Weather Lover's Guide to the wonders of the sky", "Severe Weather Survival Guide: Tips, Tactics, and Strategies for Making it Through Any Storm", and "The Everything Guide to Weather". He has also appeared in several TV shows and movies, including "Independence Day" and "Sharknado 2: The Second One".
